Fukui Prefecture

Fukui prefecture is located more or less in the center of the country, facing the Sea of Japan.
It is home to 15 nuclear power facilities and is responsible for the production of approximately one third of all the electricity generated by nuclear power in Japan.
Fukui is an energy-producing prefecture, which continues to make an important contribution to Japan's energy agenda.

From Tokyo : approx.2 hours / flight from Haneda airport, then a bus from Komatsu airport.
From Nagoya : approx.1 and a half hours / JR Shinkansen followed by JR limited express.
From Osaka : approx.2 hours / JR limited express.
